Key Responsibilities
•Develop and Maintain Python-Based Applications – Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code for various applications or backend systems.
•Write Clean and Scalable Code – Ensure all code follows industry standards, is well-structured, and can be scaled or modified easily in the future.
•Integrate User-Facing Elements with Server-Side Logic – Work closely with front-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow between the backend and the user interface.
•Design and Implement RESTful APIs – Develop secure and well-documented APIs that allow communication between different services and applications.
•Debug and Troubleshoot Issues – Identify and fix bugs or performance issues to improve the functionality and stability of applications.
•Work with Databases – Integrate applications with SQL or NoSQL databases, write queries, and manage data storage solutions.
•Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams – Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality features.
•Perform Code Reviews and Provide Feedback – Review code written by peers, suggest improvements, and ensure best practices in the development process.
•Stay Updated with Latest Technologies – Keep up with the latest trends, tools, and frameworks in Python development and apply them when appropriate.
•Participate in Testing and Deployment – Assist in unit testing, integration testing, and deployment of applications to production and staging environments.
Required Qualifications
Educational Background- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
Relevant certifications in Python programming or backend development (preferred but not mandatory)
Professional Experience
1–3 years of hands-on experience in Python development or backend development
Experience building web applications or APIs using Python frameworks
Skills & Competencies
•Strong proficiency in Python programming language
•Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
•Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end technologies
•Working knowledge of databases
•Familiarity with version control systems
•Ability to write clean, scalable and maintainable code
•Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
•Good communication and collaboration skills to work within cross-functional teams
•Willingness to learn and stay updated with latest tools, frameworks and best practices in Python development
