Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute SEO Strategy – Create and implement comprehensive on-page, off-page and technical SEO strategies to improve overall search engine visibility.
- Conduct Keyword Research – Identify high-potential keywords and growth opportunities that align with business objectives and target audiences.
- Optimize Website Content – Ensure all existing and new content is optimized according to SEO best practices, including keywords, meta tags and internal linking.
- Monitor Website Performance – Track and analyse SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, etc., and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage Technical SEO – Identify and resolve technical issues such as crawlability, site speed, indexation, and schema markup to enhance site performance.
- Develop Link-Building Strategies – Plan and execute high-quality link-building activities to boost domain authority and improve organic ranking.
- Coordinate Across Teams – Collaborate with content, development and design teams to ensure SEO requirements are incorporated into all digital assets.
- Conduct Competitor and Market Analysis – Regularly perform competitor research and stay updated with industry trends to refine SEO strategies.
- Track and Report SEO KPIs – Prepare and present reports on key SEO metrics such as keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversions.
- Stay Updated with Algorithm Changes – Monitor search engine updates and adjust strategies to maintain and improve search performance.
- Perform SEO Audits – Conduct regular site audits and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Guide and Support Team Members – Mentor and support junior SEO team members or interns to improve performance and maintain consistency.
Required Qualifications
Educational Background- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, IT, or a related field.
Certification in SEO / Digital Marketing (Google, HubSpot, Semrush, etc.) is an added advantage
Professional Experience
•1–2 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing (internship or full-time role)
•Hands-on experience with basic SEO activities such as keyword research, content optimisation, and link building
Skills & Competencies
•Good understanding of on-page and off-page SEO techniques
•Working knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ubersuggest, SEMrush, etc.)
•Ability to conduct keyword research and assist in content optimisation
•Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and website structure
•Strong research and analytical skills
•Ability to work collaboratively with content, design and development teams
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•Eagerness to learn and stay updated with latest SEO trends and algorithm changes
