Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Implement SEO Strategies – Create and execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO plans to improve overall search visibility.
- Keyword Research & Opportunity Identification – Conduct research to find high-potential keywords and new opportunities for ranking improvements.
- Content Optimization – Optimize existing website content and coordinate new content in line with SEO best practices and target keywords.
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis – Track website performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, etc.) and analyse key trends.
- Technical SEO Management – Identify and resolve technical issues such as crawl errors, site speed, indexation, and schema implementation.
- Backlink Strategy & Link Building – Build quality backlinks and manage off-page activities to increase domain authority.
- Cross-Team Coordination – Work closely with content writers, developers and designers to ensure SEO requirements are incorporated into all deliverables.
- Competitor & Industry Analysis – Conduct regular competitor research and benchmark industry trends to refine strategy.
- Reporting & KPI Tracking – Prepare reports on keyword rankings, organic traffic and conversions to measure the effectiveness of SEO initiatives.
- Stay Updated with Algorithm Changes – Continuously monitor search engine updates and modify strategies in line with new algorithm changes.
- SEO Audits & Recommendations – Perform regular site audits and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Team Guidance – Support, mentor and guide junior SEO team members or interns (where applicable).
Required Qualifications
Educational Background- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or any related field
Professional Experience
•3–5+ years of hands-on experience in SEO or digital marketing
•Proven track record of improving organic rankings and traffic
•Experience working with CMS platforms
Skills & Competencies
•Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
•Proficient in using SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
•Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and website architecture.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Strong communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
•Up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and search engine algorithm updates.
